Roller hearth furnaces are used for all heat treatment processes. Depending on the type of heat treatment process they are extended to full automation by oil, salt or gas quenching systems and peripheral equipment. Their special roller design allows very high roller loads and thus extremely high throughputs. The parts to be treated can be charged directly on the hearth rollers - depending on the configuration - or as bulk material in charging frames. They are mainly used for industrial scale manufacture.
